Organic and Recycled Fibers: Reducing Footprints and Enhancing Sustainability
At RWML, we are committed to using organic and recycled fibers to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. These fibers help us minimize the need for virgin materials and reduce carbon emissions throughout our production process.
Organic and Recycled Fibers:
- We use organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled fibers (e.g., recycled polyester) to reduce the carbon footprint and reliance on virgin materials. The materials which become waste are recycled and used to reduce the material footprint in our processes. In addition, we also process pre-consumer and post-consumer waste as input material for yarns and fabrics.
Sustainable Cotton Fibers:
- We encourage sourcing of sustainable fibers from suppliers that follow sustainable cotton farming practices such as using less water, reducing pesticide use, and adhering to sustainability certifications. We procure organic cotton and produce organic yarns and fabrics that are environmentally responsible and contribute to the preservation of the planet.
